Main documents to prepare
- Passport and visa application/e-form
- Photo meeting Korean mission requirements
- Certificate of Admission and university business registration certificate
- Academic documents, diploma, transcript and highest education proof
- Proof of funds, scholarship or sponsor documents
- Family relationship proof if parents sponsor the student
- Legal stay proof if applying outside passport country

Legalisation, translation and health documents
The document route follows the country that issued the document, not the country where the student currently lives. Apostille countries normally use apostille; non-apostille countries normally use local foreign-ministry authentication and consular legalisation. Algeria is a transition case from 9 July 2026.

FAQ
Can admission alone get me a Korean visa?
No. The university usually needs to issue the Certificate of Admission first, and the embassy or visa centre can still request additional documents.
Do all applicants need apostille?
No. Apostille is used only for documents from apostille countries. Others normally use Korean consular authentication or the route required by the university.
Can I work immediately after arriving?
No. D-2 and D-4 students generally need part-time work permission from immigration before working.
