Legalisation and document authentication
For every country, document authentication follows the country where the document was issued, not only where the student currently lives. A student living in Dubai with an Iraqi diploma may still need the Iraqi document route. Start with the university requirement, then confirm the visa checklist.

FAQ
Can I apply with conditional admission?
Often yes, depending on the exact study route and local checklist. Studienkolleg, preparatory courses and university-place-seeking routes have their own evidence requirements.
Is a blocked account always required?
No. A blocked account is common, but proof may also be a scholarship or formal obligation declaration if accepted by the mission.
Should I legalise every document?
Do not legalise randomly. First check the student visa checklist and the university enrolment rules, then prioritise academic certificates and civil documents that are requested.
